Many people have been told to start and jump into business… those have been the worst decisions that eventually made in life because they jump into business without thinking of inventing. They jump into business without finding the most important role of an Entrepreneur. They simply think, business is about doing and understanding the technical works of the business. Therefore, you find an apprentice caterer after graduating; starts a caterer shop… 30 years after, you still find that caterer in that small and little shop, hoping that one day things will change. Or an Accountant after seeing the way his boss runs the business decides to start his own Accounting Firm. He probably attended a seminar on Be Your Own Boss. He was thrilled at the seminar where the motivational speakers told them that all that is needed for successful Entrepreneurship is Courage. Then he steps out with Courage but no Concept. He has aggressive step, but not progressive direction. He has Enthusiasm without Enterprise. He has motivation but no education. He has songs for achievement but no soul for achievement. He has Intellectual effort but no intellectual technique. One day, he exhaust all his motivation, there is no concept to fuel his courage. The business he started years ago because a Curse.
The failure of most businesses is the failure of most Entrepreneurs to understand the real essence of business. The failure of more than 120, 000 failing businesses in West Africa each year is the failure of the Entrepreneurs to think Invention. Many are thinking that starting a business is an achievement, but the real achievement is the sustainability of your business… it is invention thinking that facilitates the sustainability of your business. The death of businesses each year is alarming but it is traceable to poor invention. Your business can never rise above the level of your thought pattern. The value of your business is in direct proportion with the invention thinking.
I and Tade while learning from the feet of our RARE Mentor, soon began to dump several business ideas because we discovered how much we had to labour in those businesses for them to generate profits and wealth for us. RARE Mentor showed us that the first and primary job of an Entrepreneur is to invent his company not to build a company. It is the invention that determines the building. A business is worth nothing that takes your time… any business that takes your time, owns you… you don’t own it.
Then we discovered how it had been easy for our RARE Mentor to create several world-class businesses… the concept of inventing. It didn’t take long for us to discover that the owners of powerful, prestigious and prosperous companies are simply inventor. They specialize in inventing businesses that can work whether they are there or not.
When RARE Mentor began to show us the step-by-step method of inventing a business that can work whether you show up or not, we realize the big factor between those who own corporations that have lasted for generations and those whose businesses last for only a decade was the invention factor…
We became ready to take on the world… to proudly show the world what two young men had learnt from the feet of their mentor. But RARE Mentor had an assignment for us, he mandated us not to be selfish with his teachings and secrets he had shown us. One day, RARE Mentor led us inside his library, which he called The Wisdom Companion Chamber, speaking with a voice that he uses whenever he wanted us tom pay great attention, Once, inside that hall of books, he said to us, ‘create an Entrepreneurs Freedom Coaching Firm that will show Entrepreneurs, especially African Entrepreneurs,’ he said, smiling and gazing at our curious faces. Continuing, he said, ‘show them the same strategies that I’ve shown you and then your light shall break forth… their success will be your success. That was how our company, RARE COACHING Company was created.
I remember inside a PROFITS ROOMsymposium that our company once put together for Young Entrepreneurs in Surulere, Lagos. It was an exciting meeting like every of our meetings. That particular meeting was like a movie for every Entrepreneur in attendance, where each saw their lives--- past, present and future. Many of these Entrepreneurs, didn’t particularly liked the future they saw, but obviously, they knew they’d had to do something about it, if they want a turn-around.
A particular fellow who had been fashion icon in Nigeria with large number of celebrities and top personalities as his client was among those who attended the symposium. The fellow walked up to Tade after the program. He was already approaching 40 years and was not yet married. Not that he didn’t want to but because, he had paid so much attention to his business that he didn’t know when time had passed him. He was speaking with so much pained trying to hold back the tears, he had to work had in the business for the business to be successful. The problem was that he couldn’t even grow beyond his capacity. He was limited by his business.
All you ever need as an Entrepreneur is to for optimum business success is to a creative business tool, RARE Mentor called the tool, The Language of Entrepreneurs Freedom™. In the upcoming profit room, I and my business Partner, Tade Esan will be showing you How to Create Massive Profits From your business. Make your seat requst Now. Registration is FREE.

THE UNTOLD MARKETING SECRET OF DBANJ... DAPO OYEBANJO
Dear Friend,
I envy you, to be honest. When I came into business for the first time, there really wasn’t anybody there to teach me this secret. I had to find lose plenty money, go dead broke, wipe out my entire saving and learning under the feet of an old man whom we call RARE Mentor, to own this secret, and it took quite a way for me to comprehend the value of this truth.
Our RARE Mentor often say, "storytelling is one the World's Marketing Secret." According to him, "Stories sell fast, facts tells." I found this to be true in the life of Nigeria's famous entertainer, Dapo Daniel Oyebanjo, or D'banj, who was born on June 9, 1980 in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria to a successful artillery officer who commanded an artillery regiment and a street was named after him in Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta, and a church dignitary mother, who hailed from Shagamu in Ogun State. Due to his father's profession, he moved several times within Nigeria and also moved to India.
D'banj was expected to follow his father's military career and was enrolled to the Nigerian Military School at age eleven. D'banj resisted the system and disenrolled from the school after three years. While at the Military school, he was a member of the elite drum corp of the Nigerian Army. From the Nigerian Military School, He proceeded to another military owned institution Nigerian Navy Secondary School,Ibara,Abeokuta where he completed his secondary school education.
When RARE Mentor began to teach us about the benefits of stories, I ever realized the impart until, I began to study the life of Dbanj. I was curious as to what makes this star who started his music career in a rather inglorious way. He was the guy who was begging the like of JJC and 419 SQUAD for a space in the album. Even the video, he did not appear as an artist, he appeared as a boy that was picked from nowhere. But he is now a successful hit.
It was in the course of recounting our experineces with RARE Mentor that it then occured to me that Dbanj had used one of the strategies that our RARE Mentor discussed to us in his house one saturday afternoon.
Dbanj's success did not begin until he started telling the story of the harmonica. He was introduced to the harmonica by his late older brother, Femi Oyebanjo, who died in a plane crash at age seventeen. With D'banj's love of music being greater than his parents' military aspirations, he struggled for his parents' approval; this can be best heard through an album track, All Da Way from his debut album. He derived his stage name from the combination of the first name and his surname.
The story of the harmonica drew a lot of attention to Dbanj and this had a devilishly pull on people. I once listened to a Movie Director who said, 'I don't know why I like Dbanj, But I think he is just funny."
My question is, "if you don't know why you like, why are you listening to his music?' In a popular church I also visited in Lagos, I heard the choir sing one of Dbanj's songs . They sang, "Olorun Ma Je O". Even in the chruch. Na waoh!
It is important to note here that I am not a fan of Dbanj but a fan of his strategies. I find his marketing ideas very intersting and deployable. We know many artist who sings better than Dbanj, but are not in the hit of things. It is not talent that sells you, it is marketing that sells your talent. Dbanj used the story of the harmonica to enter into the hearts of Nigerians and indeed Africa.
RARE Mentor once said, "People's are first of all emotional being before they are rational beings. They are moved by emtion before they are moved by facts." Dabnj's is gettign results today, because of a compelling story not because of his music talent. When In business, you don't need rational buyers, you need emotional buyers. People who will make a religion out of buying from you and not ocassional buyers. That is what Dbanj's success entails.

THE UNTOLD SECRETS OF SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS IN NIGERIA
Dear Noble Friend,
Do you want to know how to turn your small business into a highly profitable business? Are you sick and tired of the noise about making money in Nigeria? Are you looking for a way by which you can turn any small business idea into a money spinning machine?
If yiou have answered yes to that, then you are in luck.
Why did I say that?
You see, I did a little undercover job on successful Nigeria's business owners and I have their secret in my hands. The secret is what I want to share with you.
We did a little digging into the life and strategy of Dr. Sunny Ojeagbase (Complete Sports which is the highest selling newspaper in Nigeria), Larry Izamoje (Brila FM, The First sports radio in Africa), John Momoh (Channles Television, The first News only Television) and I found a particular pattern that exist in their approcah to business. That is what this article is about.
1. They focus on People's WANTS not NEEDS: The statement, 'find a need and fill it, no longr hold true.' It is rather about finding what the propect want and giving her what she wants. what people want is not the same thing as what she need. don't mistake both. You have to find out how to press the "hot buttons" that turn consumers on, and this reality means gaining an understanding of what motivates them in real-life situations. To turn people on, you must, first, find out what they really want, and then, show them how to get it.
For example, everyone needs a balance of meat and vegetable, but when your customers are prospect are vegetarians, it would be wrong to focus on presenting meat to them. Though, everyone needs meat, but these people don't WANT it.
2. They Focus on Differentiation: 'sameness kills profitability,' says RARE Mentor. If two business does the same thing, know that one of them is not needed. To become successful in business, you must focus on what makes you different from other and emphasize that difference.Incorporate features that deviate from the average characteristics of your industry. Focus on features that achieve what your customers want – and you’ll be able to cause buyers to choose your brand over others. Increase the value of your product or service, but more importantly, make sure that your customer perceives that increased value. The more difficult it is for your competition to copy your idea, the better.
This type of sales positioning will work best when (1) there are several ways to differentiate your product or service and (2) the buyer can use your product or service in different ways.
Think out of the box. Go against the norm and adopt a bold approach to doing business in your industry. Focus on an aspect that you believe your business can uniquely excel at. How different are you from the others?
3. They Focus On The Multitude:
As every small business owner or anybody who is involved in business already knows getting people to buy and talk about you is the most important thing for any kind of business. The reason for this is that without people, you are wasting your time because you won't have anybody around to buy your products or services. So as a small business owner you are going to want to create a large customer base because the larger your customer base the more sales you are going to have, which in turn leads to a successful business. Is there enough people out there to buy your product?
4. They Focus On Customers: Who is a customer? A customer according to RARE Mentor "is someone who is accustomed to buying from you. She is a customary purchaser." That means, a customer is someone that does not buy once, but is an habitual buyer, she makes a religion out of buying from you again and again. To make success in business, you must think of ways to attract customers into your business.Business is a continuous process, so the one time purchases will really only just keep your business going. How can people come back to you again after making their first purchase?
5. They Focus on Small Beginnings: Someone once said, 'it si not a crime to start small, it is only a crime to stay small.' Smallness undermines business profitability. A business that starts small will gradually develop strong stratey because you will be able to control it. It is difficult to tame a wild animal when it is old. You can easily tame it when it is small and that will shape the eventual outcome of that animal. So is a business.
6. They Focus On Using Leverage: RARE Mentor often said, 'If you are not using leverage, you are definitely under a close heaven.' Success answers to the amount of leverage you are using. Far too often, entrepreneurs fall into the trap of essentially buying themselves a glorified job. At the start, the thought of running your own business, “calling the shots,” and writing your own paycheck, sound like a dream come true: show up to work when you want, decide when you want to work and have the freedom to create the business of your dreams.
Leverage is not necessarily a bad thing... it is not only about borrowing money, it is about borrowing expertise and experience. it is about borrowing ideas and thoughts for the profitability of your business.
Until I and my partner understood this truth, we were living poorly. But with this understanding, we got two big offices in surulere without money. We got a three bedroom apartment to live in for FREE! We have even taught attendees of our seminars this secret from which one of them got more than 1000 plots of land to build an estate for FREE, He also got an office in Maryland for FREE. (To get this audio, sms or calll 08038270921)
This is much I can take for now. I have seen this traits in the men I listed above.

HERE IS HOW TO LIVE FOREVER.
Dear Noble FRIEND,
I want to reveal a secret to you, please relax. You have already gotten to open this post, so you are ahead of a long line of people who wait a little longer to read. I’m going to share my heart with you, I’ll hope you’ll read me with your heart as well. Once our hearts believe, our heads can easily follow. I’ll also ask for your permission on a few things. If you can oblige me those things, this post and the mail you are about to read, will make a real difference in your life this year!
When I first began my Entrepreneurial adventure along with my friend, Tade Esan. I was an enthusiastic boy who had enormous zeal, passion and ruggedness. I was ready to take on the world. I was determined to make a name for myself like the builders of the tower of babel. I left a very good job as an Editor of one of Africa's formeost Development Journal. It was a position I attained when I was barely 21. I had hoped to stay on with the job, but I had the fever that made many people want to start their business. I was caught by the awful disease of starting a business.
Tade, like me also abandoned his career as a book consultant to some of the leading Entrepreneurs in Africa. He had a good stint with recommending and peroviding valuable reading materials for busy executives. I and Tade, began a business known as Potsherd Human Development Company, a Company that didn't see the day of light outside our office. We spent all our entire savings to start that company. We even borrowed money to keep it going. Don't blame us, at least, we were just boys full of enthusiasm, but you see, we were no more kids but adults, yet we made dreadful mistakes. WE HAD NO STRATEGY.
We had a company that was making everything but money. We became dead broke and frustrated. It got to a point, we were ejected from our office. We had no place to run. We had nothing. I couldn't go back to my journalistic work. I was fill ed with shame and ignominy. I was receivibng pressures from all sides.
Then I and Tade met a man that changed my life forever.
We call him RARE Mentor.
He lived with his wife in Lekki Phase One. We call his house, THE GREEN MANSION.
He was the first to introduce me to the fun of business.
This was stuff that I had not understood before.
He directed me to some of the old time masters of selling.
He was our mentor for a few years until he died of at age 77. He taught I and Tade, what he calls, THE LANGUAGE OF ENTREPRENEURS FREEDOM. Later, we discovered that RARE Mentor had over 105 businesses. He had businesses in countries like China, Australia, and Mexico. He also created one of the leading hotels in Africa. I am sure if I mention his name, you will definitely know him.
On one of my birthdays, he gave me an advice that I will never forget. "Don't Start a Business, CREATE A SYSTEM."
He taught us the principles for making your business work without.
Each are hanging on my office wall.
He told me that is advice is that I can build a business that is working without me. That I was to build a business that would be great.
Build a business that I loved and that would last long after I was
gone.
And I have never forgotten this gift of advice from my mentor and coach.
